My role

Your physical preparation coach in Geneva for sporting events

You train, you follow a programme. But is your body truly ready to hold up on race day? That's where I come in. My coaching focuses on the physical foundation: what you're missing to absorb the effort without getting injured.

01

Targeted strength training

Knees, back, shoulders, posterior chain. We strengthen what your event will demand the most.

02

Conditioning

Circuits, combination drills, work under fatigue. Not standard cardio: real foundation work for performance.

03

Injury prevention

Mobility, stability, imbalance correction. We address it before it becomes a problem on race day.

04

Confidence & mindset

Feeling physically ready is what gives you the confidence to go all the way on race day.

I'm the complement, not the replacement

I do physical preparation. Not running plans, not Hyrox technique coaching. If you already have a running coach or a specific programme, I prepare your body to handle what that programme will ask of it. If you're starting from scratch, I build the foundations.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about physical preparation in Geneva

The ideal is 8 to 12 weeks before race day. That gives enough time to build a solid strength base and progress without rushing. Under 8 weeks, we adapt.

Hyrox demands endurance, functional strength and conditioning. We start by building a solid muscular base, then work on the ability to chain different efforts under fatigue. 8 to 12 weeks of physical preparation make the difference between finishing exhausted and finishing strong.

No. My expertise is physical preparation: strength training, conditioning, injury prevention. If you already have a Hyrox programme or a running coach, I'm the complement who prepares your body to absorb the effort.

We work on running-specific strength training: knee stability, core, posterior chain, prevention of classic running injuries (Achilles tendon, runner's knee, shin splints). The goal: make sure your body holds the distance without compensating.

Running or chaining efforts without a solid muscular base is the surest way to get injured or burn out. Strength training targets the muscles your event demands and improves endurance under fatigue. It's the foundation most people overlook.

Sport-specific training is the technique of your sport. Physical preparation is the foundation: strength, mobility, stability. One without the other is a risk of injury or underperformance.

Spartan demands everything: grip strength, endurance, mobility, leg power. We work on each physical quality needed to complete the obstacles without injury.

The Salève means elevation, steep climbs and technical descents. We work on leg power, ankle stability and core strength for the descents. Trail-specific conditioning prevents injuries and improves climbing endurance.

Yes. Even over 7 km, a well-prepared body handles the elevation and cobblestones better. A few weeks of strength training changes everything: less pain, more enjoyment, better time.

Not at all. If it's your first event, physical preparation is even more important. We build the foundations: mobility, strength, effort habits. Many of my clients start after months or years away from sport.

The rate depends on your goal and the number of sessions per week. The first session is free and with no commitment. Contact me with your project and your target date.

Your choice: Hybrid Gym in Versoix, RJ Training in the Servette district, or at home. The location adapts to your schedule.
